We run an appointment system, but keep a few times open to fit in with urgent problems. You can make an appointment with the doctor by telephoning the surgery. Urgent medical problems will be dealt with promptly.  If you wish, you can phone the surgery before your appointment to check whether the surgery is running on time. If you feel you will require a longer consultation, please discuss this with the         receptionist prior to making the appointment. If you or a family member require an interpreter service, we can organise this for you. Please let us know when you make an appointment.

CANCELLATIONS                                                              

Please notify early of cancellations as this enables us to re-schedule the day for other patients.

If you have 3 missed or Did not attend appointments without letting us know to cancel your appointment a fee of $75 non refundable amount will be charged to rebook any future appointments. If you show up to the appointment that fee will be deducted from your visit cost

FACILITIES FOR PEOPLE WITH A DISABILITY

Should you have any special needs please discuss with the receptionist or your doctors. A disabled toilet is also available. The practice also has  a disabled access ramp into the surgery.

PRESENCE OF A THIRD PARTY IN THE CONSULTATION:                                                  

Where a patient is accompanied to the practice by a third person (such as a family member carer), the patient’s consent must be obtained for that person to be present in the room.  The permission of the patient will also be obtained prior to the consultation for medical students, nurses or other doctors or health professional to be involved in the consultation, whether through direct observation, interview or examination.

TRANSLATION SERVICE    

A Translation service is available on request to the Receptionist or Doctor.

REMINDER SYSTEM

Our practice is committed to preventative care. We may issue you with a reminder notice from time to time offering you preventative health services appropriate to your care. If you do not wish to be part of this system please let us know at reception.
